Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Case Manager. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Portland, OR (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $25 - $27/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remote Options (Fully Remote, Partially Remote, KP Onsite): If Remote: Will the worker need to be Remote local to the office or Remote anywhere in the US: Remote covering work across markets in Portland, Oregon .

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Appeals, Grievances and Insurance experience
  • Required Level of Education: HS Diploma or GED required Preferred Level of Education: Bachelors is preferred
  • How many years of related experience are you looking for in your ideal candidate?: 6 years customer service. Heavy writing and speaking with customers over the phone. Microsoft excel, word, really help. Healthcare environment is a plus. BlueShield, Aetna, Healthcare providers (this is a huge plus)
  • Specific Systems Knowledge Required: Extensive working knowledge of personal computers to include Windows based software applications, MS Word, etc.
  • Specific Systems Knowledge Preferred: Extensive working knowledge of personal computers to include Windows based software applications, MS Word, etc.
  • Any Required Certifications?: No
  • Expected Shift: M-F Normal business hours 8:30-5pm PST with opportunities for overtime.
  • Interview Process: Group (NW only)
  • Top Three things Worker will be doing: 1. Research and respond to member grievances and appeals that pos a risk to the organization in short timeframes 24 hours to 72 hours. 2. Meet regulatory requirements 3. Improve Member Experience
  • Top Three Skillsets needed: 1. Extensive organization skills, 2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills 3. Time Management
