Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist within the Operating Supplies Category Strategy Team (CST). In this global role, you’ll lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Facilities and Repair & Maintenance categories, driving cost optimization and supplier performance across all Strategic Business Groups (SBGs).
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement global commodity strategies for Facilities and Repair & Maintenance categories, considering cost, quality, service, market trends, and risk.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Buying Operations Team and SBG stakeholders to align and execute category strategies.
• Drive supplier consolidation by reducing non-strategic vendors and engaging earlier in the solution lifecycle to maximize value.
• Deliver on annual operating plans, achieving year-over-year improvements in cost, working capital, quality, and supply continuity.
• Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements that align with global strategies and deliver measurable business benefits.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including at least 4 years in indirect procurement within a multinational environment.
• Proven expertise in category management, cost modeling, RFX processes, reverse auctions, and contract negotiation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong contract negotiation skills and comfortability discussing/negotiating commercial legal terms.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, PMP, CIPS).
• Experience working in matrixed, global environments.
• Familiarity with SAP, e-sourcing platforms, and procurement tools.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
