Role: Category Manager(Midstream Oil and Gas)

Position Description: The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, manage procurement process, on-going supplier management, and continuous improvement activities related to the procurement of goods and services. A successful candidate should have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented and proactively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project delivery timelines.

Position Description:

• Plan, execute, control and monitor supply chain activities with the objective of creating value.
• Must have experience in pipelines, electrical infrastructure, compression, and centralized gathering points operations (labor, chemicals, materials, etc.)
• Develop category strategies based on knowledge of category specific market conditions.
• Lead all Request for Proposal (RFP) processes in adherence to the Supply Chain Standard to deliver value-driven commercial solutions.
• Negotiate and maintain contractual terms and conditions using Master Service Agreements, Compensation Agreements, Service Orders, Purchase Orders, and other contractual documents for the purchase of materials and services.
• Provide a strong mix of strategic thinking and tactical support through supplier performance management.
• Develop, maintain, and implement Supplier Performance Management Plans for key suppliers.
• Maintain collaboration with other Completion Supply Chain counterpart(s) to ensure sourcing/contracting strategy alignment and consistency.
• Ensure all activities are conducted as per Company Supply Chain Standards.
• Collaborate with Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) to ensure suppliers adhere to Company HSE Standards.

Requirements and Skills :

• 5+ years of experience in category management.
• Recent experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), cloud-based technologies, and AI.
• Strong contract negotiation experience, specifically in cloud-based and AI technology initiatives.
• Experience with short-term and long-term assignments / contracts within Tech.
• Tech Focus: Must have recent tech experience; experience in oil and gas is not required.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Lead contract negotiations, specifically for cloud-based and AI technologies.

Position Details :

Location : Denver, CO

Pay Rate: $66.52/hr

Schedule/Hours: Hybrid Model - 1 week in-office, 1 week remote
