Responsibilities:

• Prepare placing plans using customer structural and architectural drawings and specifications.
• Create bar lists and orders for accessory items in accordance with the project pour sequence and schedule.
• Coordinate project activities with fabrication department personnel to ensure on-time delivery to customer site locations.
• Communicate with customer regarding project details involving detailing, fabrication, and delivery issues.
• Make revisions to placing plans and drawings at the request of others and follow up to resolve discrepancies.
• Travel to job site to resolve placing problems, obtain information, and investigate claims.
• Initiate customer change forms to document project requests, revisions or any new orders that are not part of the original customer contract.
• Maintain project files, to include drawings, drawings logs, release logs & Change Orders.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related major) preferred
• Ability to read construction plans.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge with AutoCAD and “aSa” MicroStation
• Exposure to all phases and activities of construction process.
