Job Description

Primary Function

Under the direction of the Creative Manager, this individual will concept, design and execute package design for a globally recognized toy and entertainment company known for its iconic products and storytelling experiences across physical and digital platforms.

This 3-month rotation is responsible for lead graphic design and execution of packaging and ECOMM guides.

Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days home

Location: Pawtucket RI 02862

Pay rate: $29 to $30.75

Start Date 7/28/2025 End Date 10/27/2025

Requires drug screen, including marijuana

Duties & Responsibilities

  • (60%) Design package and ECOMM guides, that includes:
  • Utilizing team insights to guide item-level design decisions.
  • Understanding brand strategy, as well as Marketing, Engineering and Design & Development objectives.
  • Conceptualizing and presenting innovative concepts to meet brand-messaging objectives, deliver play experience and story.
  • Directing photo shoots (model and product), illustration/illustrators, and outside design resources as needed.
  • Providing progress reports.
  • (20%) Collaborate with development teams, that includes:
  • Initiating and attending team meetings, project kick-offs, approval meetings, and status meetings.
  • Monitoring and abiding by legal, licensor, and regulatory requirements.
  • (20%) Manage projects and delegate individual assignments, that includes:
  • Driving multiple projects throughout staggered stages of development.
  • Delegating whole or partial design projects to production designers, internal agency temps, and outside vendors.
  • Prioritizing work to maximize support and ensure high quality results.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Contribute to creative strategy with cross-functional team on individual project basis
  • Strong understanding of production and printing process
  • Plan and produce artwork within the timeline
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Word, Excel
  • High level of creativity, passion, and integrity
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment

Education & Experience

  • Desired Education: B.F.A. in Graphic Design or Fine Arts; or equivalent experience
  • Desired Years of Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience
