Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing and managing HR programs that support business objectives. This role provides strategic and hands-on HR support across areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, training, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Align HR strategies with business goals to drive performance and engagement.
• Manage all core HR functions, including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, employee relations, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws; regularly update policies to reflect regulatory changes and industry best practices.
• Partner with senior leadership on talent planning, recruitment strategies, and employee retention initiatives.
• Lead the creation and execution of a succession planning strategy for critical roles.
• Stay current with HR trends, legal updates, and technology innovations to recommend and implement improvements.
• Develop and manage the HR department’s annual budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment; union experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
• Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance standards.
• Proven expertise in HR policies, data analysis, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams.
