Job Description

We are currently seeking a Process Engineer for a fast-growing manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on, floor-focused role that plays a critical part in production support and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring parts meet all required specifications from design through delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the initial stages of part and mold design, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  

• Oversee tooling modifications to ensure final parts conform to customer prints and specifications.
  

• Collaborate with both the injection molding and CNC departments to ensure compliance with PPAP, FAI, and quality standards.
  

• Assist in modifying injection molding machinery and automating tooling processes to improve efficiency and product consistency.
  

• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates throughout the design and production phases.
  

• Manage customer relationships and ensure their technical requirements are fully understood and met.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
  

• Solid understanding of injection molding processes, mold design, and tooling functionality.
  

• Proficient in interpreting CMM data and inspection reports to identify and resolve tooling issues.
  

• Strong knowledge of technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
