We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Patient Engagement Specialist to join our team at Options Medical Weight Loss. In this role, you will focus on booking leads, elevating show rates, and supporting the growth of our clinics through direct engagement with prospective patients. You will be responsible for converting leads into consultations and driving patient interest in Options. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in achieving clinical sales targets and optimizing the sales process. This position is referred to internally as the Business Development Specialist.

You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for new and returning patients, scheduling consultations with empathy and professionalism while following proven scripts and strategies to maximize conversions.
  • Schedule consultations—both in-clinic and virtual telehealth—and ensure patients attend by guiding them with empathy, professionalism, and a clear explanation of the value of our care plans.
  • Build rapport and guide patients through the consultation process, clearly communicating the value of our care plans, services, and pricing while confidently addressing questions or objections.
  • Drive patient commitment by ensuring consultations is attended and converting scheduled appointments into active care-plan enrollments.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with patients who did not book, did not show, or did not enroll, re-engaging them with personalized offers or information.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in the CRM, updating lead status, scheduling details, and outcomes while tracking performance against key sales metrics.
  • Partners with Regional Leadership, Clinic Managers, and the Business Development team by providing feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness, contributing to ongoing improvements in conversion rates.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly KPIs, including lead response time, bookings, show rates, and care-plan enrollments.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound, outbound, and SMS outreach daily in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a hybrid capacity, both in-clinic and remote, based on organizational needs.
  • Uphold confidentiality and compliance standards, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Embrace coaching, training, and process improvements to continuously enhance performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that support patient engagement and lead conversion goals.

You will come with:

  • 1 year of experience in a high- volume call center or customer engagement role, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or weight loss industries.
  • Proven ability to handle 110+ inbound/outbound calls and texts daily to connect with new patient inquiries, schedule consultations, and drive show rates.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, appointment setting, or sales conversions.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills with a focus on converting interest into scheduled visits.
  • Experience using CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms (preferred).
