Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our clients manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing assembly line activities, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of factory processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with team members.
WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE;
· Leading a shift of 18–21 production employees in a 24/7 continuous process manufacturing environment.
· Driving results across safety, quality, productivity, and employee morale through effective supervision and shift leadership.
· Championing IKO’s safety-first culture, leading by example and taking the lead on safety initiatives, housekeeping, and corrective actions.
· Coaching, developing, and managing direct reports to maximize individual and team performance.
· Overseeing and executing all aspects of shift scheduling, including work assignments, overtime, vacation coverage, and shift rotations.
· Conducting training and cross-training efforts to ensure employee readiness, performance, and growth.
· Handling employee relations, resolving issues through proactive engagement and established performance counseling processes.
· Collaborating with the Production Manager and Human Resources to manage staffing needs and resolve personnel matters.
· Managing department priorities and KPIs; monitoring daily production metrics, visual controls, and reporting to leadership.
· Ensuring accurate documentation of personnel records, shift performance, and required reports.
· Conducting performance reviews, setting individual goals, and participating in the hiring and onboarding process.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
· High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years of relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Associate’s degree in a related field.
· Brings a strong track record in team leadership, performance management, and continuous improvement.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Skilled in coaching, interviewing, staffing decisions, and fostering a high-performing, positive team culture.
· Flexible to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Able to walk the floor regularly, carry up to 85 lbs on occasion, and perform physical inspections as needed.
