Title: Project Engineer

Location: Alpharetta GA

Contract to Hire - 6 month contract and then direct hire

Starting Pay Range: Up to 80k depending on experience

A Project Engineer responsible for overseeing the design, revision, and manufacture of conveyor systems. Coordinating with outside vendors, shop personnel, inside engineering team, customers and original equipment manufacturers to ensure completion of the job. Proficient in 3D modeling, Inventor.

Required:

• Proficient in 3D modeling, Inventor preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Effective communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed manufacturing drawings
• Create detailed BOM (bill of materials)
• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements
• Create project general arrangement drawings for submittal
• Assist with instructions for engineering and shop personnel in meeting project specifications, and scheduling requirements, monitor and report on project progress
• Coordinate with purchasing for the purchasing of parts and materials necessary for job completion on schedule
• Ensure that the final product meets the specifications of the signed and approved customer drawings
• Coordinate with shipping to ensure delivery of the final product upon completion
