Position Overview

Our client , a fast-growing leader in architectural façade solutions, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its high-performing team in Burtonsville, MD . Renowned for delivering complex, custom-designed exterior building systems with precision and creativity, Levolux tackles projects that demand innovative thinking making each day both challenging and rewarding.

In this pivotal pre-construction role, the Senior Estimator will lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates, analyze project requirements, and collaborate with architects, vendors, and internal teams to deliver competitive, high-quality proposals. This individual will manage estimates for architectural façade and solar shading projects across North America, working closely with business development and operations to support budgeting, vendor engagement, and cost analysis. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-driven construction professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning complexity into clarity within a primarily office-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and organize drawings, specifications, and project documentation for estimating purposes.
• Review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and analyze specifications to support accurate cost assessments.
• Prepare detailed proposals, conceptual budgets, and maintain historical pricing data for unit pricing exercises.
• Conduct constructability reviews and provide feedback to design teams to enhance efficiency and feasibility.
• Distribute bid packages, evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals, and support vendor negotiations.
• Manage and maintain pre-construction budgets, estimates, and improve estimating tools and templates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through thorough analysis of project requirements and scope.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial construction experience
• 5+ years of Construction Estimator experience
• Highly organized with the ability to work with multiple managers, projects and meet deadline commitments
• Experience with sheet metal, curtainwall, and façades (preferred)
• Experience with MS Office, take-off software, Bluebeam
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
