Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager that will be accountable for overseeing and leading all aspects of the planning & end-to-end supply chain process. This position will manage a team of buyers & planners supporting our Pittsburgh campus, which consists of three adjacent manufacturing facilities. This role will require close collaboration with key supply chain functions such as operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, HR, and warehousing. Part of this position will consist of transactional business support around buying, planning, & S&OE functions. The remaining responsibility of the role will be more strategic supply chain management support for our Pittsburgh campus and will report to the Director of Planning & Supply Chain.

Essential Functions & Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies to support production, customer demand, and cost goals.
  • Manage a team of buyers and planning professionals; provide coaching, coordination and strategic direction
  • Lead buying responsibilities for raw materials, packaging, and other direct/indirect supplies.
  • Collaborate closely with production, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
  • Manage customer demands vs line capacity in a fast pace & dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Collect and analyze data to forecast demand and predict inventory needs.
  • Implement KPIs and reporting tools to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at cost reductions, planning improvements, and increased supply chain efficiency.
  • Oversee weekly sales & operational execution meetings & process.
  • Support some buying/planning functions for strategic customers, and provide other coverage as needed for the Pittsburgh team.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or a related field preferred, and 5+years related experience in a food manufacturing or related environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge of planning (MPS & plant scheduling) and supply chain best practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
